Everton have signed striker Neil Maupai from Brighton

Liverpool, England – Everton bolstered their flagship attack on Friday with the signing of Neil Maupe from English Premier League rivals Brighton.

The French striker has moved for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal and fills the gap left by Brazil international Richarlison, who joined Tottenham in this transfer window.

Everton’s other main striker, Dominic Calvert-Levein, is injured and manager Frank Lampard is playing without a recognized center back this season.

Everton have scored two goals in three league games. One was its own goal.

Maupai, who joined Brighton from Brentford in 2019 and scored 26 goals in 102 appearances, lost his place at Brighton to Danny Welbeck.
